AFFORDABLE HOUSING FOR NEWTS
A colony of Great Crested Newts in Harleston has recently moved into a new pond refurbished by
JS HAY. After a month of overnight newt catching the colony was introduced to a new and improved pond near our Titlow Road site. The new habitat has a small newt proof fence to ensure that none of the creatures find their way back onto the adjacent building site.
The humans are housed nearby in a development recently completed by
JS HAY for Saffron Housing Association. The development provides 18 new homes consisting of 4 flats and 14 houses, for rent only.
